Scott Cox

SCOTT COX is a seasoned Civil Litigator with more than 34 years of practice in the State of California. Scott has tried in excess of 40 cases to verdict against some of the most accomplished attorneys the plaintiff’s bar has to offer in both Southern and Northern California.

Scott specializes in the handling of high exposure cases such as traumatic brain injury matters, wrongful death claims and catastrophic injury cases in the fields of products liability, premises liability and vehicle collision cases. Despite his specialty in handling these high exposure cases, Scott also handles minor type injury and disputed liability claims.

Scott has an excellent reputation in the legal community with both the defense and plaintiff’s bar which works to the advantage of his clients, leading to the successful resolution of cases whether by trial, mediation, arbitration or settlement.

Having represented plaintiffs during his career, Scott has developed an understanding of anticipating the tactics opposing counsel will undertake on behalf of their clients, allowing for a strategy to keep him one step ahead of his opponent. His focus has always been on developing an early and effective strategy with the goal of providing an early evaluation on the potential exposure to his clients and to make appropriate recommendations on either settlement or trial. He appreciates the need to be a zealous advocate for his client while at the same time being professional and courteous to opposing counsel.

Scott enjoys spending time with his family and is an avid golfer.
