RAJEEV (“RAJ”) S. PATEL is a litigator with Olson Law Group, APC. For nearly two decades, Raj has litigated a wide variety of legal issues, in both state and federal court, including personal injury claims (both plaintiff and defense side), product liability claims, employment discrimination/wage and hours claims (both plaintiff and defense side), contract disputes, and interstate trucking subrogation matters. He has handled all aspects of first party claims on behalf of insurers in the context of uninsured/underinsured motorist claims and has provided numerous coverage analysis and opinions to carriers on both auto and homeowner’s policies.
Raj has also, with great enjoyment, participated in training seminars for claims adjusters/managers on coverage issues related to UM/UIM claims, the Insurance Code, and the California Code of Regulations relative to fair claims settlement practices. From law school, Raj received a Concentration in Trial Advocacy in addition to his Juris Doctorate which helped pave the way for successful completion of bench and jury trials. Although he greatly enjoys litigation and trial, Raj is a firm believer in the value of informal and formal alternative dispute resolution, so much so that he served as a pro bono mediator for the Los Angeles Superior Court and offered private mediation services on a wide range of cases.
When not litigating cases, Raj thoroughly enjoys time with his wife and two young children putting smiles on their faces and joy in their hearts.
